About LU Glocal Professional Development Scheme

LU Glocal Professional Development Scheme (“GPDS” or “Scheme”) aims to integrate theory with the practice of work within a purposefully designed curriculum to nurture LU students as caring professionals and prepare them for their future careers.

The new Scheme is an invaluable opportunity for the University to not only integrate theory and practice but to expose “graduates-to-be” to the world of work as well as to produce caring professionals promoting UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The Scheme would enhance students’ understanding of the most recent economic, social and cultural developments locally, regionally, and globally upon graduation.
