New Student Orientation
The University offers face-to-face and online e-programmes for New Student Orientation 2022 to provide the essential information and supporting network to new students.
New Student Orientation (NSO) aims at helping you adjust to university life and build up the relationship network. NSO 2022 includes Welcome Address by the President, talks, library and campus introductions, connections with university staff, etc.
The following arrangements are made to cater for new students with different reporting days:
Type A
Students who are admitted before 23 August 2022, 12:00 noon should:
complete the online M1 programmes (Item 1 – 16) by 30 September 2022; and
attend the face-to-face NSO programmes on 26 August 2022; and
attend the face-to-face Campus Life Carnival on 7 September 2022.
Type B
Students who are admitted between 23 August 2022, 12:00 noon and 6 September 2022 should:
complete the online M1 programmes (Item 1 – 16) by 30 September 2022; and
complete the online M2 programmes (Item 17 – 19) by 30 September 2022; and
attend the face-to-face Campus Life Carnival on 7 September 2022.
Type C
Students who are admitted on or after 7 September 2022 should:
complete the online M1 programmes (Item 1 – 16) by 30 September 2022; and
complete the online M2 programmes (Item 17 – 19) by 30 September 2022; and
complete the online M3 programme (Item 20) by 30 September 2022.
