About HSBC Future Skills Development Project
Co-organised with HSBC and The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups, the rationale of this Project is to provide education and training to re-skill young people, giving them the tools necessary for them to be creative, innovative and original. These skills, which involve both theoretical and practical aspects of knowledge, also include financial literacy, enhanced communication and sound analytical interpretations.
This project is available for all full-time students.

Details
You will be introduced with the details of this HSBC Future Skills Development Project at the briefing session. The Artificial Intelligence Skills-up Workshop offers free A.I. introductory information. In addition, students can apply for recommended self-directed online course. After the online course, students must apply for the course certificate on the platform for the online course subsidy application via ILP Team (each student can ONLY apply for one course subsidy with maximum HK$800).![](/files/selft-directed-online.png)

Provide participants with job experience at InnoTech startup companies to exchange ideas and learn from the industry experts.

Note: The Company may invite students for long-term internship and this would be discussed between companies and students.

Topic
InnoTech Solutions
"A.I. for a Future World" is the theme for participants to develop and pitch innotech ideas which help to reslove problems. Outstanding teams will receive cash rewards to execute their ideas.
Target Participants & Time Size
1-8 Full-time students of tertiary institutes in Hong Kong (Members can come from different universities)
Each team submits:
- One application form
- One proposal
- One 3-minute video (optional)
Deadline: 6 December 2019 12:00 noon. (Extended)
Pitching day: 21 December 2019
Proposal Requirements:
- Introduction to the situation that requires improvement in the future
- Present the idea your artificial intelligence technology and how it can improve the situation
- Illustrate the feasibility of your idea
Prize
- Champion:HKD$80,000
- 1st runner-up:HKD$40,000
- 2nd runner-up:HKD$20,000
- Merit Prize:HKD$2,000 (7 teams)
- Most Creative Video: HKD$2,000
- Most Feasible Video: HKD$2,000
